More than ten percent of Kenyan children die before the age of five. Grace, a former street child, says she may have died if it weren't for Wema Centre, a children's home outside of Mombasa. The high child mortality rate is affected by more than health coverage and policy. With rainfall deficits of up to 50 percent in parts of the country, the Kenyan people cannot grow enough food to prevent malnourishment and lift themselves out of poverty.
